Fallece Trevor Storton
Trevor Georgen Storton, ex defensa del Liverpool, ha fallecido a la edad de 61 años víctima de una larga batalla contra el cáncer.
Storton llegó a Anfield de la mano de Bill Shankly, entrenador con el que logró una Copa Uefa en 1973. Y aunque no llegó a hacerse con una plaza en el once inicial debido a la fuerte competencia que suponían Larry Loyd y Emlyn Hughes, sí será recordado por las orillas del Mersey al son de «Eyes of blue, six foot two, Trevor Storton’s after you». Descanse en paz.
Brad Jones se marcha cedido
Por otro lado, también hemos sabido hoy que el jportero Brad Jones ha sido traspasado al Derby County hasta final de temporada, en busca de más minutos. El meta australiano llegó a Anfield en el pasado mercado de verano procedente del Middlesbrough y sólo ha disputado dos encuentros con el primer equipo. En el Derby County se encontrará con Daniel Ayala, también cedido.
